The Stone Consultants story began in 2006 and we have been working on understanding stone ever since.
After 16 years of project management, expert witness work, assisting construction professionals select and specify the right stone for the right job, The Stone Consultants understand nearly all the aspects of using stone.
A member of The Stone Federation and The British Standards Institute. We are also proud to be members of the Chartered Institute of Builders (MCIOB).

The Stone Consultants are guided by the CIOB Code of Professional Conduct.
A Chartered Building Company or Consultancy shall at all times:

Who We Are
Robert has been involved in natural stone since 1987 when he was appointed director of Specialist Stone Services, part of Chesney’s, London’s largest purveyor of stone fireplaces. Two years later he left to form the stone contracting specialist Marble Arch Ltd, where he remained as MD until 2006.
Marble Arch grew to become one of London’s best known stone contractors, working on high profile projects for clients such as Cadogan Estates and Northacre Developments, amongst others.
Robert started the Stone Consultants in 2006, using his years of practical experience to form a professional consultancy.
The Stone Consultants is a member of the Stone Federation of Great Britain and the British Standards Institute. Robert has been a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders since 2013.
